You will be most welcome at our Inclusive Tennis Open Day, which we are running with our partner East Anglia Tennis & Squash Club, based at Lime Tree Road, Norwich. The open day is on Sunday 19th September from 1pm to 4pm. We will have a range of tennis related activities taking place for all levels and abilities to try, for anyone school-aged and above.
We work with players with a wide range of both physical and mental impairments. Inclusive tennis is all about what you can do, and our Open day is a chance for you and your family members to come long, learn some new skills, play a few games and have fun on the tennis court. Some players might have very little experience or have never played before. You can chat to one of our fantastic coaches, and talk about you and your tennis ambitions. All activities will be led by our qualified coaches and supported by our amazing volunteers.
Please come appropriately dressed for the session. To go on court you have to wear a pair of trainers. We also recommend wearing comfortable sportswear so you can move around freely. Rackets will be provided if you do not have your own.
We ask that parents, guardians and carers stay on site for the duration of the session. You can either watch from the club house or take part. A delicious selection of home-made cakes and drinks will be available to buy. In certain circumstances we may ask for the parent, guardian or carer to accompany the player on the court - please bring a pair of trainers so you can be ready to assist if needed.
East Anglia Tennis and Squash Club has accessible toilets and changing, with a lift for access to the upper floor if required. Parking is available at the club and is free of charge.
If you would like to come along, please ➡️ ➡️ register your interest ⬅️ ⬅️. You will be able to find the latest up-to-date information about the open day on our facebook page. If you have any questions please email us at email@example.com.
